Natural, Colorful, Silver and Pastel Balayage Hair Color

There are plenty of combination of colors that you can get from the Balayage hair coloring technique alone. Balayage on its own can be done with just balayage texturizing without the bleach/lightener, with bleach and lightener, to create colorful result, to get silver or pastel.

From these 5 types, balayage without bleach/lightener, balayage with bleach/lightener, and colorful balayage is the most basic one and can be done in a single session.

Balayage hair coloring without bleach/lightener is recommended for color changes that are not too drastic, and to get a more natural, subtle look. For Asians, that will be Dark Brown or Warm Brown. It'll take about 2-2.5 hours to complete the entire process.

The time it takes to complete the process will be around 4-5 hours, dependant on the tickness of the hair.

Silver/Dark Grey is an all time favorite and is usually thought of as hair goal for most people. It is also the most difficult to get from an Asian hair perspective. Asian hair typically starts at Level 2 (Dark Brown). For a one-time bleaching process, the hair can lighten no more than 3 levels from the original color. To insert the desired color into the hair, it is highly recommended that the hair is pre-lightened with bleach to a minimum of Level 9 for Dark Grey and Silver, and level 10-11 for Light Silver. This means that 2-3x of bleaching is necessary to prepare the hair to be toned to the desired pastel or silver colors.

Maintenance and Care for Your Hair Post Bleaching
After bleaching, it is common for your hair to be dry and dehydrated from the chemical process done on it. It is highly recommended for you to give your hair a Bond Multiplier Treatment (to strengthen the bond or Keratin of your hair) and Deep Mask Treatment after shampooing. Hair mask and conditioner can give your hair its nutrient back and soften the post chemically processed hair. For colors like pastel or silver, it is recommended that each individual prepares Purple/SIlver shampoo before starting the coloring process. Purple and Silver shampoo has toning agent containing Blue/Purple that can function as "anti-orange" to keep your hair color from fading. Even if it fades, it will fades towards the Ash spectrum with Purple/Silver Shampoo, making it easier to retone it back to where you want it to be without bleaching it again.
